Meet Surbhi...

There are moments in life that never quite leave us. A fleeting glimpse through a glass window. The warmth of sunlight lingering on an empty street. A familiar road that still lives somewhere within us. A conversation unfinished. A feeling we never found the words to explain. Time moves on. We grow older. Life becomes fuller, louder, faster. Yet certain moments refuse to fade.

And then, without warning, a scent, a color, a slant of light or a passing place brings them back.

Not as memories alone, but as feelings. Waiting to be felt again.

I am Surbhi Chouhan a mother, an artist and women in STEM. My journey through scientific research taught me to observe the world closely, while art taught me to listen to what cannot be measured. Somewhere between those two worlds, Canvas of Lyrical Soul emerged as a place where imagination, emotion and storytelling meet.

For me, every painting begins long before a brush touches the canvas. It begins as a feeling. A moment of wonder, nostalgia, comfort, longing or simple joys that quietly asks just to be noticed in present moment. I first gather these emotions through poetry, allowing them to unfold into words before transforming them into color, texture and movement. Each original artwork is a one of a kind visual poem, an attempt to give form to the invisible physiological landscapes we all carry within us.
