Inspiration behind original artwork:

Some people arrive in our lives like a distant lighthouse. Never seeking attention, yet quietly guiding us through uncertain waters. This painting explores the feeling of being protected by a presence that asks for nothing in return, yet leaves us stronger because it was there. It is a reflection on guardianship, trust and the enduring light we carry from those who helped us find our way. Presented below are a few poetic fragments from the original poem that inspired this painting:

Keeper -The Poetic Excerpt

You are my keeper by the restless sea,

a steady light, my fortune stars gave me.

When skies blur and roads get unsure,

I tremble into doubts I cannot cure.

you held that safe space for me to lean in.

You did not push, you did not claim,

you simply stood, like a constant flame,

not the voice but who understand silence.

At every edge where my fears would rise,

you met my heart without a disguise,

but something simpler, a steady hand.

You are the shore when I would break,

the survival breath I needed just to take.

And even now, through changing tide,

my “Keeper”, I carry your light deep inside.

it is life’s courage wrapped in your steady light.
